About the Role

Heath Electrical Services is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to support our growing Electrical Department. As a Customer Services Assistant at Heath Electrical Services, you will be a front-line representative, playing a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service. This position requires strong communication skills, empathy, and a proactive approach to addressing customer inquiries and concerns. As a crucial member of our team, you will contribute to maintaining high customer satisfaction levels and fostering positive relationships.

The Customer Service Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring positive customer experiences and satisfaction with Heath Electrical Services. As the first point of contact for clients, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns, and assisting with order processing and administrative tasks. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-centric mindset to uphold our reputation for excellence and build strong relationships with our clients.

Essential Skills

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Handle administrative tasks, including invoice processing, data entry, record maintenance, and the preparation of operational reports.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints, concerns, or issues promptly and effectively.
  • Coordinate with team members and clients to ensure job requirements are clearly understood and effectively communicated.
  • Ensure timely and reliable delivery of services, coordinating with relevant departments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and notes in Servicem8 or similar job management software.
  • Follow up with customers after completion of work to collect feedback and ensure satisfaction.
  • Provide customer service, answering inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Interact with customers professionally and courteously via various communication channels, including phone and email.
  • Address customer inquiries, provide product information, and assist with order-related concerns.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products and services.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to customers based on their needs.
  • Collect and analyse customer feedback to identify trends, common issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights to management for continuous service enhancement.
  • Assist in promoting additional products or services to customers when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or operations role, preferably within the plumbing, gas, or construction industry.
  • Proficiency in using Servicem8 or similar job management software.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • ·Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, etc).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the Electrical industry in the UK.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations or customers effectively and professionally.
  • Valid UK driving license.
