Job Description
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a Public Sector facilities management company in Oxfordshire for a Junior Management Accountant to join the team on a temporary basis. This post is a perfect opportunity for a part-qualified accountant to gain valuable experience in a large organisation and progress in their career.

Reporting to the Head of Operational Finance or the Head of Corporate Finance, the Junior Management Accountant will provide support to the operational and corporate finance teams. Involvement in all areas of finance will be a focus for this role. Contributing to the generation of monthly management reports by undertaking a variety of month end tasks such as collating or inputting accruals, prepayments, and other required adjustments. Collating and preparing schedules of transactional journal postings to ensure full reconciliation between the operational systems and the central corporate ledgers (Agresso).

Candidate Criteria

  • AAT Qualified or Part-Qualified CIMA/CCAB Accountant
  • Experience of working within a finance setting previously, preferably public sector
  • Experience of generating monthly management reports and contributing to month end
  • Experience of transactional finance work including journal postings, ledger transactions and more
  • Great communication skills with the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team
