Description
- Develop, implement and manage strategic operational planning processes.
- Coordinate with the Engineering & Manufacturing teams to ensure efficient production.
- Oversee the planning and execution of manufacturing schedules.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and performance.
- Liaise with various departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and report on operational performance metrics.
- Nurture, Lead and motivate the operations planning team.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Ensure sufficient material availability and flexibility in line with customer schedules.
- Maintain optimised levels of inventory
- Ensure zero obsolescence during model year/cycle changes.
Profile
A successful Operations Planning Manager should have:
- A degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operations planning within Manufacturing
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent strategic planning and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
