Enjoying continued success further to considerable investment, they now have an exciting newly created role for an Operational Planning Manager to lead the planning function to contribute to the delivery of ongoing strategies designed to optimise and improve productivity, quality and sustainability.

Description

  • Develop, implement and manage strategic operational planning processes.
  • Coordinate with the Engineering & Manufacturing teams to ensure efficient production.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of manufacturing schedules.
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and performance.
  • Liaise with various departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor and report on operational performance metrics.
  • Nurture, Lead and motivate the operations planning team.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Ensure sufficient material availability and flexibility in line with customer schedules.
  • Maintain optimised levels of inventory
  • Ensure zero obsolescence during model year/cycle changes.

Profile

A successful Operations Planning Manager should have:

  • A degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in operations planning within Manufacturing
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent strategic planning and coordination abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
