Location: Randox Laboratories, 55 Diamond Road, Crumlin, BT29 4QY.

Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent.

Working Hours / Shifts: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 08.40 to 17.20.

What does the Senior Translational Marketing Executive role involve?

This newly created Scientific Marketing position will be responsible for abstracting and pulling out information from clinical applications and research papers - gathering data, discussing it with the sales teams and working with the marketing team on what should be promoted and how it should be promoted online.

  • Abstracting information for the GP market and also for the general public - 2 different approaches.
  • Assessing why clinical markers are of significance - and how we can promote this.
  • Interpreting historical health data collated by Randox Health.
  • Making R&D and Clinical applications publicly accessible and understood.
  • Work with other teams within Randox to develop content plans based on the research you have done and opportunities you have identified.
  • Writing articles, case studies, and blog posts that explain scientific concepts in an accessible manner.

Who can apply?

This role would suit someone who has previously completed a research-based Masters, PhD or Post Doc who is interested in a scientific marketing career. If you feel you have a passion for communicating scientific stories, then this role could be for you.

Essential:

  • Research based Masters, PhD, or Post Doc.
  • Strong understanding of clinical markers.
  • Enjoy communicating complex scientific stories to technical audiences.
  • Independent and able to work under your own initiative and comfortable working with other teams to generate content.
  • Strong initiative, problem-solving ability and sense of ownership when driving projects to completion
  • Investigative in actions and thinking.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical in evaluation of campaigns.
  • Articulate in oral, written, and visual presentations.
  • Clear understanding of marketing processes.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable:

  • Practical marketing experience.
  • Experience in SEO/content driven marketing.
  • Previous experience with CRM systems, email marketing software and/or website CMS.
  • Creative writing.
