Description
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be responsible for:
- Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded
- Process invoices, record payments, and track expenses
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Reconcile bank statements
- Collaborate with the accounting team to execute financial tasks
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and regulations
- Perform other accounting duties and support team members as required
Profile
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
- A strong understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially in Excel
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
