Our client is looking for an experienced Ocean Freight Executive to join their busy team. You will manage and arrange the transportation cycle for Ocean freight, ensuring all paperwork is complete and legal.
Working hours are Monday to Friday - 09:00 - 17:30 (30 Minute Break)
Your responsibilities as Freight Executive will be:
- Obtain charges and cargo release details from agents and shipping lines
- Submit customs clearances
- Process advanced payments in a timely manner
- Process all payments and raise necessary paperwork
- Arrange the release and transportation of goods received
What you need to bring as Freight Executive:
- Ocean/Sea Export Freight Experience is essential
- Experience with negotiating terms and rates
- Be familiar with industry standard computer programs such as Cargowise
- Good communication skills
- Organisation and planning skills
- Good Geographical knowledge
