Seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join a Facilities Management team in the North The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure our properties are well maintained.

Description

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks across various sites
  • Carrying out minor repairs, such as fixing leaky faucets, repairing broken windows, and managing plumbing issues
  • Assisting in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems
  • Conducting performance assessments of company appliances
  • Collaborating with a team to complete larger projects
  • Identifying and reporting the need for major repairs
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintaining inventory of repair supplies and equipment

Profile

A successful Maintenance Technician should have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the property industry
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
  • Good understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
  • Good physical condition and strength
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
