Head of BD & Strategy

Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for a Head of Business Development & Strategy to work with one of our Private Practice clients in Luton.

What the job will be doing

  • You will be responsible for onboarding and maintaining relationships among business partners such as Local Authorities, Social Services and Homeless Charities.
  • Within this role you will drive revenue to meet our growth targets and will manage the end-to-end new business process. You will also assist in managing and developing existing client relationships, leading a programme of awareness, raising and profile building as part of the company's broader marketing initiatives.
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities and expanding brand presence covering all of the services, whilst managing existing partnerships and evaluating company business goals.
  • Extensive client negotiation to acquire new and existing contracts through tender and networking
  • Assist the leadership team in identifying business development opportunities with new clients and grow existing client relationships.

What you will need

  • An excellent level of understanding of the UK Housing sector in particular social housing, temporary housing and supported living.
  • Expertise of pitching and tendering and the ability to advise on the process and project manage opportunities
  • Experience of selling and business development to Registered Housing Providers and Local Authorities clients
