Regional General Manager

Atrium Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of a client for Regional General Manager. You will be supporting Registered Managers across services in the Norfolk Region and East Midlands Region.

The client offers care and support services to adults with a Learning Disabilities & Mental Health.

Key Duties

  • Work collaboratively with the Board and fellow Senior Management Team members to translate, plan and embed the Company strategy in responsible area.
  • Explicitly demonstrate the company values at all times and create an environment whereby these can permeate though all levels of the organisation.
  • Take the lead for assigned functional and cross-company activities and projects, whilst always supporting the best interests of the Company
  • Contribute to the creation of a high-performance culture that recognises and embraces innovation, continuous improvement, constructive challenge in decision-making and demonstrates appropriate attention to the wellbeing and empowerment of co-workers.
  • Represent the needs of functional area in the development and update of the Management System, while ensuring that they are the most effective methods for supporting the delivery of services of the Care Department.
  • Ensure audits and performance indicators are reported and responded to in a timely manner and are used to inform future decisions, actions and make recommendations to the Director of Care
  • In conjunction with the Operations Manager, ensure that the functional area has effective strategies for risk management and business continuity whilst protecting the best interests and reputation of the Company.
  • Proactively and transparently manage any stakeholder relationships and continuously role model desired behaviours to others.
  • In conjunction with the Operations Manager ensure that there is an effective communication framework for the department which enables co-workers to receive and respond to relevant information in a timely fashion and in line with our values, operational needs.
  • Explicitly meet personal responsibilities in relation to Health and Safety, Social Care, Financial Management, Data Protection and Employment Legislation.
  • Undertake, as required, direct coaching and training of co-workers to build knowledge and develop confidence and ongoing competence.

About You

  • Demonstration of strong leadership and management qualities are essential, as is a dynamic and flexible approach to the role.
  • Must be driven, motivated and committed to providing industry leading care and service. Experience of the Adult Learning Disabilities & Mental Health sector is essential.
  • You will have a background of managing staff in an operational environment and of working at Operations Manager level already.
  • You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent).
