Our vast direct-to-store (DTS) distribution network, comprising of 17 depots nationwide, enables us to make over 10,400 daily deliveries of our own chilled and frozen produce and that of third parties.

What you'll be doing:

The Business Transformation Finance Partner Lead is an important role within the Group, tasked with tracking the value, costs and payback of initiatives that are being undertaken as part of the Business Transformation Programme, "Making Business Easier" which is the Group's technology and end to end process transformation programme.

The role requires a blend of financial acumen and strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels. This will be a part-time role working 22.5 hours per week.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and articulate a comprehensive tracking mechanism to accurately track the costs, value and payback of initiatives that are being undertaken by the Group in collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
  • Own and gatekeep the tracking process for costs and payback for each of the initiatives, maintaining an accurate view of initiative spend and timelines and milestones.
  • Ability to report the costs, value and payback accurately with supporting variance analysis through engagement with multiple stakeholders.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as the Transformation Programme lead, the wider finance teams to ensure coordinated efforts in value measurement and monitoring.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post qualification experience or QBE
  • Experience of operational or commercial decision support
  • Demonstratable interpersonal skills able to communicate to all levels of the business
  • Ability to build, lead and develop a high performing team
  • Proactive, organised and able to work flexibly in order to meet deadlines and have the drive to deliver results
  • Able to partner, challenge and collaborate at a senior level and provide value add insight to a team of professionals.
