HRGO Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and experienced Handyman to support the busy working schedule of the school Estates Department. You will need to be well[1]organised, practical, a team player, physically strong and be able to work as directed or independently.
As a part-time Handyman, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of our school's facilities and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth running of the school's premises and facilities
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including repairs painting,cleaning
- Assist in managing contractors for maintenance and repair work
- Collaborate with other staff members to address any estates-related issues promptly
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role within an educational or commercial setting
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical strength and stamina to handle manual tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
