About the Role:
Our client, a well-established vehicle repairs company in Digbeth, Birmingham, is seeking an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to join their finance team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in financial operations who is looking for flexible working hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the sales ledger, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and on time.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up as necessary.
- Process customer payments and update the accounting system.
- Prepare and distribute monthly customer statements.
- Assist with financial reporting and month-end processes.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure efficient financial operations.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in a sales ledger or similar financial role.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in SAGE is essential for this role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational skills.
