Our client is seeking a proactive, friendly and organised individual who is passionate about product to join their Product Development team. This team creates commercial and innovative products across the beauty, wellness & gifting sectors which are sold by leading retailers worldwide.

As PD Admin Assistant you will play a pivotal role within the team, working closely with global suppliers, creating artwork briefs for the graphic design team, and supporting the PD team across all aspects to enable the smooth running of this fast-paced, creative department.

Key responsibilities for this Product Development Administrator role include:

  • Working closely with their global supplier base across product costings, managing & tracking progress to ensuring everything is in line with agreed critical path dates
  • Daily management of the sample and product processes, including requesting and tracking samples from suppliers, and maintaining up-to-date internal trackers and critical paths.
  • Coordinating sample photography, sending images to buyers/suppliers as required
  • Creating Artwork briefs for the Graphic design team, and assisting the graphic design team to review artworks.
  • Arranging translations for pack copy, and assisting in item setup
  • Requesting and organising inspection reports ensuring they are received in a timely manner
  • Ordering labels for suppliers through online portals, ensuring timely delivery
  • Maintaining and updating product spreadsheets, uploading images to enhance product offerings, and assisting with presentations as required
  • Conducting product and trend research

Qualifications and skills required:

  • 1-2 years' of experience preferably within a product development, buying, or a related position
  • Genuine interest in the beauty and gifting sector
  • Proactive, organised, and a positive attitude
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues at all levels
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Good IT skills including use of Microsoft Office
  • Friendly and warm persona, with great energy and a strong desire for career progression within products development
