Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are supporting a 2 form entry Primary School in the BS3 area of Bristol who are seeking a candidate to cover PPA Monday to Friday from Term 2.

This school is a wonderful place to grow and develop professionally as they provide equal opportunities for all of their staff to have training and courses to expand their knowledge to allow them to provide an inclusive and engaging curriculum for the children.

The Role

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience as a Class Teacher and build their knowledge of the curriculum by teaching across all year groups.

We are looking for flexible and energetic individuals who are enthusiastic about the learning environments and development of the children.

You will be expected to work closely with Class Teachers to deliver pre-planned lessons and communicate children's progress and assessment.

You will be expected to:

  • Communicate clearly with all staff in the school.
  • Have great knowledge of KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons to the high expectations the school holds.
  • Assess children's learning and feedback to Class Teacher.
  • Be approachable, calm and positive.
  • Hold Positive Behaviour Management strategies.
