We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Spanish Teacher to join our vibrant Modern Foreign Languages Department at a supportive secondary school in Cambridgeshire. This role is ideal for an educator with a passion for teaching Spanish and a desire to contribute to a dynamic learning environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver engaging Spanish lessons to students across Years 7-11, with a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Foster a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes language acquisition and cultural appreciation.
  • Develop and implement creative lesson plans and curricula that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the language program.
  • Contribute to the school's extracurricular activities, including language clubs, trips, and exchanges.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with a specialism in Spanish.
  • Ability to teach German and/or French is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Spanish.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
