Group Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Management Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using Sage 1000 and have a strong background in management accounting within a group structure. This role is pivotal in providing accurate financial information and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the company.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Prepare monthly management accounts for the group, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- Analyse financial performance and contribute to medium and long-term business planning/forecasts.
- Monitor and evaluate financial information systems and suggest improvements where needed.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with financial legislation and guidelines.
- Work closely with other departments to help them plan and manage their own budgets.
- Involvement in the preparation of year-end financial statements and liaising with auditors as required.
- Provide training and support to other members of the finance team in using Sage 1000.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant, preferably within a group structure.
- Proficiency in Sage 1000 is essential.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines.
