Join an NHS healthcare provider offering acute and specialist care services based in the Southwest of the UK. With a large budget and staff, this trust is renowned for research and innovation while providing high quality care. They are now looking for someone to join as the manager and head of their legal team in the position of Legal Services Manager.
Your new role
As Legal Services Manager, you will handle claims made against the trust, investigations, compliance, Court of Protection applications, and inquests while also managing and overseeing the operations of the legal team. This is initially being issued as a 3-month FTC assignment, with high possibility for extension and/or conversion to permanent.
What you'll need to succeed
- 10+ PQE in clinical negligence and inquests.
- Significant healthcare experience either in private practice or a medical in-house context (public or private).
- Experience managing a team (desirable).
