Definition:
Working in the production department, usage of machines and the winding machine.
Overall Purpose of the Role:
Ensures the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials, goods and products to feed business operations and customer demand. To load empty spools with cables and wire, programme and use the machine, finding the correct product.

- Monday to Friday
- Rotational weekly 6am/2pm - 2pm/10pm - 10pm/6am
- Immediate start

- Salary £25K - £28K per annum
General and Task Management
- Using the machines to wind wires and cables
- Loading empty spools
- Find the correct product
- Take delivery of goods and supplies
- Check for damaged or missing items
- Store goods appropriately
- Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment
- Load goods for dispatch
- Ensure delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production standards
- Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of products is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
- Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own safety of others
- Handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner
- Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency
