My client is undertaking bespoke development and enhancements to their application. As part of this the successful candidate will be involved in the integration of several bespoke data sources written by other parties, other working areas of the programme and project or engage with 3rd parties when necessary.
You also be required to work closely with the design team to implement UX components and continually improve the application.
Key outputs
- Ensure successful releases of the Mobile application are achieved by quality delivery of the product.
- Continuously identify performance improvements or issues throughout testing of the product and ensure correct owners for the resolution(s) are identified.
- Quality plans, forecasts and estimates throughout the delivery of services.
- Management of Remedy queues established and managed.
- Build and design for extensions to systems as agreed with the Senior Product Owner, Development Team and the Authority to support the wider Team deliverables.
Essential experience
Expert in developing, supporting,integrating and maintaining high-profile ,high volume Android Mobile applications
- Demonstrable experience of working on Android based systems on large scale development programmes
- Expert experience in Jetpack Compose
- Strong integration development experience
- Expert experience in Kotlin
- Expert in XML and Mobile Design Patterns - MVVM
- Recent experience in Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines ,Android Studio and Git
- Expert in investigating and diagnosing production issues in high-complexity Android Mobile Applications
- Expert in industry standard development methodologies and tools
- Experience in integrating Android Mobile Applications with APIs and SDKs
