Hays are working with a Legal firm in Shrewsbury who are looking to appoint a Legal Secretary on a permanent basis. This is a varied role in which you would be supporting a Senior partner within the business.
Your new role
As a Legal Secretary, your role would involve:
- Provide partners, solicitors and consultants with a high standard of secretarial service in the production and processing of legal documents and correspondence.
- Carry out general team administration including photocopying, filing and scanning.
- Audiotyping.
- Handle telephone enquiries and direct accordingly
- Manage fee earner diaries.
What you'll need to succeed
- You will need to have experience of working in a legal environment, preferably in a Wills, Trusts and Tax department, however Wills, Trusts and Tax experience is not essential.
- You will also have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- You will be a confident person with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as a member of a team.
- You will have the ability to manage and prioritise your work; with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
