We have a fantastic role with a very reputable client based in Canary Wharf looking for someone who has 9-5 role.
Job Summary: The Credit Controller plays a crucial role in managing rental arrears and fees. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our landlords while demonstrating respect for our tenants. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, patience in resolving issues, and a positive attitude to work towards targets.
The ideal candidate would have a decent education background and some real experience of working in accounts/credit control. Ideally, they would like someone who can start as soon as possible. They want someone who is cool under pressure, works to goals/KPIs and really wants to grow within the role and the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Chase and manage rental arrears and fee debt
- Assist landlords throughout the eviction and legal recovery process
- Generate reports on aged debt
- Perform month-end routines and reconciliations
- Conduct monthly meetings with Property Managers and Branch staff
- Respond to queries via phone and email
- Collaborate with other teams and build strong client relationships
- Perform ad-hoc duties as required
- Meet agreed KPIs
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing multiple portfolios and effectively allocating time to different areas
- Expertise in rental arrears and recovering fee debt
- Strong communication and written skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Team player with the ability to also work independently
- Resilient and able to work under pressure to achieve targets
