Air Conditioning Engineer

Are you an Air Conditioning Engineer looking for a large site based role in the Kings Lynn area.

This National Facilities Management Company are currently recruiting an Air Conditioning Engineer to take care of planned and reactive maintenance to their large site in Kings Lynn. (Disclosure of the site available on application)

As Air Conditioning Engineer you will be provided a van which you can drive to and from work. This is due to the nature of the role and the size of the site.

You will be responsible for planned and reactive works to the sites Air Conditioning and Ventilation systems, this includes splits, VRVs, VRFs, Some chillers and Fridge plant.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

To implement the building services, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programme and reactive maintenance (RM) in accordance with the building operational requirements and in compliance with the contract service levels:

  • Keep F-Gas records up to date.
  • Maintaining DX units & Chiller units.
  • Carry out maintenance on various equipment.
  • Minimise downtime of equipment.
  • Participate in a standby rota for emergency calls outside normal working hours (1 in 6)
  • Working as part of a site team.

What do you need to have?

  • Must have a solid working knowledge as an air conditioning engineer.
  • Must have proven experience in maintaining and servicing equipment for a wide variety of commercial and industrial clients.
  • Must hold Refrigerant handling C&G2079 or equivalent.
  • Must show excellent organisation, communication and prioritisation skills.
  • The ideal candidate will show outstanding customer service skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into understandable language for the client.
  • A full, valid UK driving licence is essential.
