Materials Handler role overview:
In the role of Materials Handler, you will be working with the Production Management team to develop processes for stock management on the shop floor to ensure that the production schedule is completed on time whilst assisting and supporting the dispatch team leader.
Your Responsibilities as Materials Handler:
- Controlling stock movement between warehouse, stores & shopfloor
- Recording stock movements on our computer system
- Working to set procedures
- Efficient reporting of non-conformances/issues
- Working safely & adhering to H&S guidelines
Your Skills & Experience:
- Understanding of Warehouse Management Systems
- Current FLT Licence
- Confidence in liaising with suppliers, couriers, and internal customers
- Understanding of how production schedules work
- Confident in use of Microsoft tools, excel, word and PowerPoint
