We are currently looking for a dedicated Site Administrator to join our office team within the construction / demolition sector. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting our site activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry and be adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Greet visitors and manage front desk duties.
  • Handle phone and email inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Act as a personal assistant to the directors.
  • Maintain office supplies and manage inventory.
  • Oversee vehicle fleet planning and maintain accurate records.
  • Organise MOTs, services, and repairs for the vehicle fleet.
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate calendars for staff.
  • Provide HR assistance, including updating absence/sickness records, right to work documentation, and arranging interviews.
  • Complete Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS) and Pre-Qualification Questionnaires.
  • Raise Non-Conformance Reports and provide technical support to site teams.
  • Submit weekly progress reports to site managers.
  • Order plants, materials, and skips as required for site operations.
  • Liaise with site managers to ensure efficient workflow and communication.
  • Schedule and track deliveries, ensuring timely arrival of orders.
  • Create and maintain site Health and Safety folders.
  • Raise purchase orders and maintain accurate records.
  • Update the training matrix and organise training sessions and site inductions for operatives and contractors.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an administrator, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in office management systems and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with handling HR-related documentation and processes.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
