We are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager for a proactive client of ours to deliver a range of business projects and support them throughout the full project life cycle.
This role will make great use of you proven project management experience, your high standard of communication skills and your ability to forge solid working relationships with internal and external stakeholders alike. Your expertise as a Project Manager will enable the organisation to deliver and industry leading service to its clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- To maintain and manage the company's project governance framework and project management methodology, and to coach others on these standards, to ensure projects are delivered in a consistent manner
- Engage with all relevant functions of the business to understand project requirements, enabling projects to be planned effectively with clearly defined project team structure, resource requirements, reporting, milestones and deliverables
- Develop and maintain high quality project documentation including intuition document, plans, risk and issues logs and reporting
- Issue clearly defined work 'packages' to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring they are agreed and acted upon so that project outcomes are achieved
- Monitor progress against plans. Manage risks, issues and escalate concerns as appropriate to project sponsors and agree any contingency plans to be initiated, to ensure project progress continues
- Ensure regular communication of programme activities to the leadership team
- Lead project closure, 'wash up' procedures to establish actual performance versus planned time, resource and budget, in order to identify opportunities for improving future project delivery
Ideally applicants will have proven experience of establishing robust governance and project methodology to deliver on project time lines and mitigate issues along the way.
You will be able to demonstrate that you work well in a collaborative team environment and build strong relationships across multiple teams. You will be able to adapt to changing needs and be well organised and self-motivated; able to focus on the task in had to ensure the project is supported from start to finish.
