They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead a civils project valued up to £12 million, ensuring its successful completion within scope, time, and budget.

Job Description: As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of a civils project, from planning and design through to execution and handover. You will ensure that all project objectives are met, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the civils project up to £12 million from inception to completion.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
  • Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and address any issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among project team members.
  • Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management and clients.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction or civil engineering sector.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage mid-scale projects, preferably in the range of £5 million to £12 million.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to work across the Midlands region.
