Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organised, and customer-focused Mortgage Case Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for managing mortgage applications from submission through to offer and completion, ensuring a smooth process for all parties involved. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional service within agreed SLAs, collaborate closely with underwriters, solicitors, brokers, and internal teams, and consistently uphold compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full lifecycle of mortgage applications, from submission to funds release and completion
Provide proactive updates and communication to brokers, solicitors, packagers, and customers
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners
Monitor and manage case pipelines to ensure timely processing in line with internal SLAs
Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls with professionalism and clarity
Accurately process data entry, scanning, indexing, and document preparation for completion
Identify and escalate potentially fraudulent activity to help protect the business
Assist in developing improvements to processes and systems where applicable
Maintain high standards of quality and compliance, ensuring all activity adheres to regulatory guidelines
Demonstrate ethical and compliant behaviour at all times, reflecting company values
Perform other tasks as required by management

Person Specification / Experience Required:
Experience working in a mortgage environment, with knowledge of the application lifecycle
Strong understanding of relevant regulations including Consumer Duty, MCOB, TCF, DPA, AML, and Fraud prevention
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Calm, approachable, and professional under pressure
Dynamic, enthusiastic, and motivated to achieve results
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
Excellent communication skills, particularly over the telephone
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Proactive in identifying improvements to enhance customer service and efficiency
High standards of integrity and honesty
