About our Client

Our client lives with Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 3, which impacts his lower body strength and mobility, requiring the use of a wheelchair. Despite this, he embraces life with enthusiasm, having completed a degree in Computer Games Design. Ben is a passionate fan of football and basketball, loves video games, and is an avid history enthusiast. Known for his open-mindedness and easy-going nature, he seeks carers to help him pursue his interests, although he admits he's not a morning person.

Written by our client...

"I have Spinal Muscular Atrophy which causes loss of strength in muscles, so I need someone who is understanding and adaptable as a wide variety of tasks are difficult for me. The exact tasks vary day to day depending on both how I feel that day and what I will be doing."

"I am relatively outgoing and enjoy socialising with friends, so I always appreciate a carer who understands and is ready to support that. I am also a BIG sports fan, in particular Football and Basketball."
