We specialise in high-quality products including contemporary extensions, conservatories, orangeries, replacement roofs, windows, and doors in both uPVC and aluminium. We're looking for a Yard Operative with a valid Fork Lift Truck license who will take pride in their work and ensure smooth and efficient yard operations. This is a fantastic chance to leverage your skills and experience in a role where you'll play a crucial part in our exciting growth journey. Hours of work are Monday to Friday between 7:00am-3:30pm. This role is based outdoors in our purchasing yard.

Role Responsibilities

  • To check deliveries and move products between departments ensuring the factory have the right amount of stock in the right place at the right time.
  • Working outside in a busy yard environment loading and unloading lorries.
  • To move goods packed on stillage's, pallets, or crates around the yard facility.
  • To stack goods in the correct location bays.
  • Any other duties as required.

Person Attributes

  • An in-date Combi Lift and counterbalance license is essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail with great organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with colleagues, managers, and customers.
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong team player who can work on own initiative with a can-do attitude with effective time management.
  • Strong Health and Safety knowledge.
  • A willingness to undertake further training with the ability to implement learning into your daily work.
