Revenues Officer
Northallerton
£16 per hour (umbrella)
Full Time Contract (3 Months)
Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Revenues Officer in Northallerton. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.
The job:
- Dealing with customers who are in arrears with their council Tax and Business Rates
- Making arrangements to clear debts, chasing missed payments
- Accounts prior to and following the granting of Liability Orders
- Looking to move accounts to charging orders, bankruptcy's and any actions allowable following the Liability Order
- Communication will be via telephone, email and written letter
The candidate:
- Experience of Northgate systems essential
- IRRV qualification most desirable
- Knowledge of legislation and practice for either revenues and benefits administration or both with skills to interpret and apply new legislation
