Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Acute Therapy Occupational Therapist to join the acute therapy team at Morriston Hospital. This role involves delivering both ward-based and outpatient rehabilitation services. Ideal candidates will have experience in acute care, rehabilitation techniques, and a strong understanding of patient management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy within the acute therapy service.
- Deliver both ward-based care and outpatient rehabilitation for acute patients.
- Assess and develop personalized care plans to optimize recovery and enhance patients' functional independence.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
- Support patients with rehabilitation techniques, including manual handling and mobility training.
Key Requirements:
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience in acute care or rehabilitation settings is desirable.
- Proficiency in rehabilitation techniques and manual handling practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
