Robert Half Cambridge are working with a practice based in St Ives who are seeking an Tax Manager to join their team. This role will be responsible for corporate and income taxes for a portfolio of clients and will be their main point of contact.
This role is paying a salary of £70,000 - £85,000, depending on experience. The role offers hybrid working after probation period however a presence in the office is preferable.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing of Corporation tax computations
- Preparation of partnership, trust and personal tax returns
- Assisting with the development of trainees, including reviewing their work and providing feedback
- Liaising directly with clients to clear queries
- Liaising with third parties such as HMRC
- Adhering to internal and statutory deadlines
- Assisting with tax planning strategies
- Research & Development claims
- Advice in relation to Share based schemes
Skills and qualifications:
- CTA qualified or qualified by experience to a similar level
- Experience in practice
- Experience managing a portfolio and being first point of contact for your clients
- Experience of CCH software package preferred but not required
- Able to manage your own workload effectively and efficiently
- Good communication skills.
