Package Details:

The successful candidate will receive a basic salary of £21,000 - £25,000 per annum, a commission structure, and a benefits package.

Purpose of the role:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the financial advisor and mortgage advisor market, with a primary responsibility of establishing and nurturing relationships with advisors throughout the UK. The role involves identifying new opportunities and guiding advisors to exciting new positions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential advisors in the financial and mortgage sectors.
  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to attract and engage advisors.
  • Proactively reach out to advisors throughout the UK to understand their career goals and preferences.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with advisors through effective communication and regular follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor our recruitment offering to meet the unique needs of advisors in the financial and mortgage markets.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and stay updated on market trends.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports on business development activities.

The Ideal Employee:

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial advisor and mortgage advisor market.
  • Strong understanding of the financial services industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain successful relationships with clients and partners.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success in the financial services industry.

Education:

  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Working Conditions:

  • Our office in Wickford will operate on a hybrid model, with employees required to work from the office for a minimum of 3 days per week.
