Reed Business Support in Cambridge are supporting an amazing client who are seeking a dedicated Administrator to support the operations of their modern office in Alconbury Weald, Huntingdon. This is a fully office-based role, requiring 20 hours per week with core hours from 10:00 to 14:00, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining administrative procedures to ensure the office runs efficiently.
Day to Day of the role:
- Manage general office administration, including reception duties, call handling and serving refreshments for client meetings.
- Oversee facilities management tasks such as health & safety and liaising with maintenance and cleaning contractors.
- Handle office supplies, ensuring items are in stock and re-ordering as necessary.
- Perform group administration duties, including work planner and deadline spreadsheet amendments, and monthly billing sheet reconciliation.
- Conduct client administration, including system updates, preparing client create forms and completing Anti-Money Laundering review paperwork.
- Undertake ad hoc tasks such as company secretarial support, preparing tender documents, organising group events and managing mailshots.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A strong background in administration, preferably within professional services.
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively without close supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Awareness of GDPR and its application in the workplace.
- Full UK driving licence and access to own transport for occasional inter-office travel.
