Kenny Recruit are looking for a qualified Financial Accountant to join a leading provider of high-quality support services on a temporary basis for a 3 month project. Our client has a mission to ensure that every person they support can live richer, happier lives. Having been acquired in 2021, the company has grown and now offers their services across 45 sites.
As the Financial Accountant you will play a pivotal role in leading the reconciliation of the balance sheet for the year ended 31 March 2024 and updating these reconciliations through to the current time. You will also support with the delivery of the year end audit. This is a very hands-on role which will require working closely with the current Financial Accountant and Group Financial Controller. Key to the role is tenacity and high attention to detail.
Pay: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
Location: North London (Islington) - 3 days per week in the office
Working hours: 9.00am - 6.00pm
Responsibilities:
- Ensure integrity, reconciliation and monthly reporting of all balance sheet accounts across all entities
- Reconcile and maintain the inter-company matrix
- Liaising closely and being a point of contact with external auditors during the annual audit process maintaining strong professional relationships
Knowledge and skills:
- Qualified Accountant (preferably ACA)
- Extensive experience of balance sheet reconciliations
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of Sage 200 is desirable
