Credit Controller - WIP

An excellent opportunity to join a global law firm at a time of growth in the revenue and credit control team. The Working Capital Controller (Revenue and Credit Control) will support lawyers in the management of Work In Progress (WIP) and will play a pivotal role in collecting current and aged debts, liaising with a broad range of stakeholders including senior lawyers, billing colleagues and PA's.

The role:

  • Conduct meetings with lawyers to manage the WIP, collating information and preparing reports
  • Collecting aged debts via email and telephone
  • Build effective relationships with lawyers and colleagues
  • Being proactive, attending meetings and supporting lawyers with strategies to collect challenging debts.
  • Resolving problems and thinking quickly
  • Liaise with international billing and revenue control teams

Candidate requirements:

  • Previous experience in credit control and Work In Progress
  • Ideally law firm experience, or large professional services
  • MS office skills
  • Knowledge of Elite accounting system is advantageous
  • Excellent written and communication skills with stakeholders at a all levels of seniority
