Site Manager / Senior Site Manager

Lovell, operational in the South West, is focused upon the construction of new build private sale and affordable housing and is currently in the midst of substantial growth.

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager/Senior Site Manager to join the team at our new development in Winkleigh, Devon, comprising of 71 units.

Candidates should be outgoing managers who understand the technical side of building. Proven previous industry experience of working on similar projects is essential. An established track record of delivering high volume housebuilding. High standards of H&S are essential.

Ideally the successful candidate will be someone who is able to drive both the internal and external packages of a project whilst maintaining the highest quality - and demonstrate where she or he has done that previously. Further, they will need to form good relationships with our subcontractors and wider supply chain.

In addition, a high degree of IT competency is essential including Microsoft Word and Excel and other software packages, with the ability to understand and interrogate reinforcement details, drawings and schedules. Good record keeping and ability to work within process. Able to use planning software would be helpful but must be able to plan their own trades and co-ordinate construction sequence.

Candidates must be in possession of a valid CSCS gold or black card and ideally hold a professional membership with CIOB.
