Pharmacist Manager

Evolve has a fantastic opportunity available to join a growing independent pharmacy based on the scenic west coast of Scotland in Kilwinning. Our client is seeking a dynamic Pharmacist Manager to join our team on a full-time permanent basis, working Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm.

Key details about the role

  • Supported by an experienced team including Second Pharmacist, ACTs, Assistants, and Superintendent.
  • Manage a busy pharmacy dispensing 18,000 items monthly, supported by dispensing and collection robots, along with providing first-class patient services including Pharmacy First Plus, sexual health clinics and travel clinics.
  • Work alongside local GP surgeries and care homes in the area.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary ranges from £58,000 to £62,000 depending on experience and IP qualification.
  • There is also a fantastic bonus structure in place, as well as free onsite parking. The pharmacy is right next to the train station, so it is easily commutable from places such as Glasgow with frequent trains (30 mins).
  • Our client can also support you in utilising or completing the independent prescribing qualification!

Ideal Background for the Pharmacist Manager

  • GPhC registered Pharmacist with ideally 2-3 years post-registration experience.
  • Qualified or newly qualified Independent Prescriber preferred (support available).
  • Accredited to provide Pharmacy First Plus services, Core Services, and Enhanced Services (training available).
  • Strong leadership skills.

  • Ensure high-quality customer service and clinical duties.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
  • Manage inventory and financial aspects.
