A leading education trust is seeking a Deputy Operations Manager to join their team- this is a great role where the successful candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of day to day, encompassing the Finance, IT and HR functions, as well as for the wider administrative support team.

This role is based on-site 5 days a week, and will be across the Trusts schools.

Duties for this role includes-

  • management of admin, site and cleaning teams
  • ensuring efficient running of the support function
  • liaise with staff at all levels across the trust
  • budget management
  • delivery of the service support function
  • ensure all relevant records are kept up to date
  • support the management of school expenditure, revenue and budgets
  • support the application of relevant bids for the trust
  • ensure that the HR function accurately records all information relating to absence, ER and performance
  • oversight of estates management

The ideal candidate for this role-

  • is IOSH qualified
  • holds Level 4 Management Qualification or equivalent experience and CPD
  • has appropriate financial qualifications and experience
  • has managed staff
  • is experienced in business and administrative management experience
  • is proficient in ICT
  • has excellent communication skills.
