Product Manager - 12 month FTC

What you'll be doing:

The main purpose of this role is to be a subject matter expert who understands, documents and maintains the product customer journeys and touchpoints to ensure that all pension product communications that are used as part of that journey reflects the product features consistently and accurately.

This will involve working with project teams and taking a lead to identify web pages, marketing collateral, operational processes and materials impacted by different initiatives, to help each project understand and document their business requirements. Ensure that the key product and propositional messages for the journeys are identified and consistently applied by Marketing when delivering projects and other small change. As a key SME working with the business, identify where multiple projects are updating the same or similar journeys, and propose and agree courses of action that mean that these journeys and materials can be updated in the most efficient manner possible.

  • Act as subject matter expert who understands, documents, maintains and updates the end-to-end process flows for our customer journeys.
  • This will involve working with project teams and taking a lead to identify web pages, marketing collateral, operational processes and materials impacted by each initiative.
  • Ensure that the key product and propositional messages for the journeys are identified and consistently applied by Marketing when delivering projects and other small change.
  • Ensure that the customer view is embedded in maintaining and updating journeys and that the potential for customer detriment has been assessed and, where possible, mitigated
  • Identify where there are opportunities to simplify and improve customer journeys when working with colleagues from across the business

What we're looking for:

  • Ability to demonstrate strong written and numerical ability (English and Mathematics)
  • Documentation and updating of customer journeys
  • Proven interpersonal skills to build good working relationships, manage tasks successfully, especially in relation to resolving barriers to achieving project aims
  • Experience in participating in teams at varying levels
  • Proactive, initiative-led and flexible approach to work
