The role is working remotely, work from home but the successful candidate must live in Enfield, Barnet or Southgate or very close
Part-time hours - 10am to 2pm, Monday to Friday

This is one of the best opportunities I have worked on this year, don't miss out. Fantastic, friendly Estate Agents and Block Management company are looking to recruit an Administrator to assist their Block Management team, no previous Block Management experience required but would be an advantage. Personality and work ethic will be the deciding factors for the final shortlist for this role. Full training will be provided.

The ideal Administrator will have a solid back ground in Administration or Block/Property Management industry.

They are offering the flexibility to work fully remote from home, and are offering hours to suit a working mum or dad who needs to be around for the school runs. Must have a genuine need to work part-time hours. We are looking for a trustworthy self-starter. There is potential the hours could increase to 5 hours per day from 9:30am to 2:30pm, so please bare this in mind when applying.

IMPORTANT:

Must drive with own car and live in Enfield, Barnet, Southgate or very close to one of these locations

Must have a quiet space/office at home to work from with space for a work phone, laptop/desktop, med-large size tabletop printer, paper and envelopes, all of which will be provided by the company.

The successful Administrator:

  • A solid work history in Administration or Block/Property Management Admin support - happy to consider parents looking to return to work after a break bringing up their children
  • Must live in Enfield, Barnet or Southgate or very close surrounding areas
  • Excellent English speaking and writing skills
  • Have an excellent telephone manner with the personality and customer service skills to deal with some difficult tenants and leaseholder calls
  • Must be organised and have a happy and positive can-do attitude
  • Be competent in the use of Microsoft Exchange, Word and Excel (previous experience of mail merge would be preferable but not essential)
  • Need to be a self-starter, pro-active and with excellent accuracy and organisation skills
  • Need to have use of own car and be able to travel to sites, sometimes at short notice (occasional – couple of times a month)
  • Be prepared to have a laptop/desktop, phone, printer and stationery stored at home permanently
  • Full training will be given on their Management system 'Focus

Key Administration duties are as follows:

  • Answering calls and dealing with leaseholder enquiries – please note this will involve chasing for non-payment both by email and phone. It will also involve taking some challenging phone calls so good communication and customer service skills are paramount
  • Daily manual input of bank transactions onto Focus system
  • Checking leaseholder statement of account and sending reminders for payment
  • Sending out mail merge statements (either by post or email)
  • Inputting contractor invoices onto Focus system
  • Management of public liability certificates for contractors

In return the successful Receptionist can expect:

The hours are part-time 10am to 2pm, Monday to Friday, could potentially be 9:30am to 2:30pm.

Fully remote working from home, all employees meet up from time to time and you may be required to attend the Blocks approx. 1-2 times a month - all are based in Enfield, Barnet & Southgate so you must be local.

Holidays: 28 day including bank holidays, pro rated.
