Description
- Accurately input financial transactions, invoices, and data into accounting software or spreadsheets
- Maintain organised financial records and files
- Process accounts payable by preparing and issuing payments to suppliers
- Ensure all expenses are properly documented and approved
- Handle accounts receivable, tracking payments and issuing invoices
- Follow up on outstanding customer or client balances
- Assist with bank reconciliations to align financial transactions with bank statements
- Resolve discrepancies in financial records
- Support payroll processing
- Generate financial reports and assist in month-end or year-end closing processes
Profile
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel
- Experience using Business Central preferred, but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to work in a team and independently
- Good communication and organisational skills
