Overview
A leading professional services business based in Birmingham are searching for an assured Treasury Accountant to join their successful and growing finance team.
Your role will also include full calculation and reconciliation of several accounts and client transactions, proactively assisting in the automation of associated processes in order to reduce time spent and implementing robust internal controls throughout the course of the project. You will assume a key role within the large accounts department of this successful business, and enjoy an exciting, challenging and varied role with genuine opportunities to develop your treasury experience.
Skills required:
- Have previous experience of treasury accounting / cashiering, as well as proven expertise of effective high volume reconciliation work
- Preferably have experience of working in a similar position within another professional services business (i.e. legal, property, etc.)
- Possess strong Excel skills, allowing you to quickly and efficiently deal with a high volume of complex financial information in its raw state
- Have a positive and confident communication style, allowing you to effectively deal with a varied audience of internal and external contacts
