Assistant Management Accountant

Are you a dynamic and motivated individual with a passion for finance? My client are a leading healthcare company, who are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to support their fast-paced finance function. If you have 4 years experience in finance team roles (including 2 + years experience as an AMA) and are a part qualified accountant, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with relevant reporting and analysis.
  • Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card income, and other financial transactions.
  • Coordinate audit fieldwork and ensure timely information delivery.
  • Support external reporting requirements, such as VAT return preparation and year-end accounts.
  • Assist with month-end journal entries and other finance operations tasks.
  • Provide cover for various finance functions when team members are away.
  • Update financial systems with accurate exchange rates.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in finance team roles.
  • Part qualified accountant (AAT, CAT, CIMA, or ACCA).
  • Attention to detail and a desire to learn.
  • Self-motivated with excellent multitasking and time management skills.
  • Experience with general ledger systems, preferably Intact IQ.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including Vlookup, pivot tables, and SUMIFS.
