ABOUT THE CLIENT:
We are a leading organisation within the financial sector who provide a range of services for our customers. Due to a new project, we are looking for a talented Engineer/Consultant to work within a niche area to enhance Beacon Platform systems, Based in London.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING AS A BEACON PLATFORM ENGINEER?
As a Beacon Platform Engineer/Consultant, you will provide the client with in-depth knowledge about how Beacon is used from both the Engineering and Marketing Perspective. The Beacon Engineer will provide technical expertise for the client, including guidance on Beacon's Financial Object Model and Data Integrations. Enable the client to be 'self-sufficient', by teaching and assisting client developers and quants how to use Beacon, to allow them to maximise the value of investments. As a Beacon Engineer/Consultant, you will also be proficient in Python, and develop code in collaboration with the client to prototype and develop solutions.
BEACON PLATFORM ENGINEER/CONSULTANT - ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Previous experience working on Beacon Platform Implementations.
- 5+ years of experience in the financial industry.
- Strong Python Programming Development skills and experience.
- Risk Management experience within Investment Banking environment.
- Knowledge of technical infrastructure and business requirements in financial institutions.
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills
- Must be based in London, able to visit client sites' offices as required.
- UK Citizenship Required.
