We are seeking a Logistics Administrator to join our team, which has a rich history of over 140 years in trading nuts, seeds, and dried fruit. With our continued expansion, we are looking to enhance our logistics and supply chain team. This role is pivotal in supporting the flow of documentation and invoicing, ensuring the smooth processing of transactions. It is ideal for someone with an interest in supply chain management, and full training will be provided.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Monitor costs incurred in trading and logistics.
  • Process shipping documents, including recording, tracking, and distribution.
  • Maintain the shipping schedule ledger.
  • Assist the aged payables group and contribute to the cash flow forecast.
  • Identify efficiencies and ways to improve current processes.
  • Maintain accurate supplier records on Concur and Ibridge, reconcile supplier statements, and develop vendor relationships.
  • Record expense claims and vendor bills to ensure accurate financial data capture.
  • Support the logistics operations group.
  • Maintain supplier relationships by handling queries and building stronger partnerships to increase support and enhance company margins.
  • Follow all company financial policies and procedures to maintain high standards of financial management.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial information for management accounts or annual audit purposes.
  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks or responsibilities as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in financial record-keeping and reporting.
  • Discretion in handling confidential financial information.
  • Good IT skills, including knowledge of accounting software packages.
  • Problem-solving ability and capacity to work independently.
