I am delighted to be partnering with a leading firm of Chartered Accountant who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their team in Middlesbrough.
Reporting the Assistant Management you will be involved in the delivery, analysis and interpretation of management accounts for a portfolio of clients across the region.
Your main duties:
- Preparation of management accounts from a wide range of clients Sage, Xero and Quickbooks Online
- Attending clients premises across the North East and Yorkshire
- Undertake common management accounts task and techniques including cash flow forecasting and break even analysis
- Analyse, interpret and appropriate commentary on management accounts
- Preparation of Excel working papers
- Undertaking bookkeeping tasks
- Prepare and review VAT returns
- Reviewing payroll journals
- Actioning client queries
- Attending internal meetings
Person Specification:
- ACA/ACCA qualified or AAT level 4 with relevant experience
- Management accounts experience
- Strong IT skills including Xero, Quickbooks, Sage
- Strong Excel skills
- Knowledge of different VAT schemes
- Understanding of CIS
