Recruit UK are working on behalf of a well-regarded Independent Financial Planning firm in Cardiff, to find a talented Financial Planning Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team of Independent Financial Advisers and a paraplanner, where you will play a key role in ensuring seamless administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing incoming and outgoing post.
- Handling all incoming phone calls.
- Coordinating with providers and internal teams to obtain necessary information.
- Preparing valuations and assembling client packs for meetings.
- Addressing client and provider enquiries via phone and written correspondence.
- Keeping client records meticulously updated and organised within the back-office system.
- Ensuring all necessary documentation is properly filed.
- Adhering to compliance standards.

Requirements:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Previous experience within a wealth management/investment firm, or banking
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, in-house IFA systems, and provider websites.
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Able to prioritise and manage your workload effectively.
- Ability to work as a team member and also independently
- Professional telephone manner and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Keen attention to detail and high accuracy in all tasks.
- Flexible and capable of managing your own time efficiently.
