Graduate/Assistant Estimator – Exeter

You will be working closely with an experienced estimator assisting with pre-construction and commercial duties. Types of projects include new build and refurbishments within Education, Commercial, Retail, Leisure and Healthcare up to a couple million.

Responsibilities:
- Supporting with client, consultants, quantity surveyors, and other third parties
- Support potential tenders with commercial team
- Administrate correspondence and tender documentation throughout the supply chain
- Sending out tender enquiries to the supply chain, Negotiating and adjudicating quotes
- Obtain pricing in a timely manner to meet with submission deadlines
- Support with various stages of all successful bids to ensure costs are kept in line with the forecast
Requirements:
- Estimating in construction desirable
- Construction experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal English
- Highly numerate, uses initiative and solves problems independently
- Driving licence is required, DBS may be conducted
- Computer literacy skills and the ability to adapt to using company customer relationship management systems
