Part-time Finance Assistant

Our client is a well-established company seeking a Finance Assistant to join their team. Working on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, you will be responsible for a variety of duties including:

  • Setting up and processing payments
  • Processing sub-contractor invoices, setting up sub-contractors on to systems and verifying
  • Processing invoices against orders
  • Managing delivery notes
  • Managing invoices for approval
  • Monthly statement reconciliations
  • Undertaking cheque runs
  • Processing expenses claims
  • Posting Nominal Ledger Journals as needed
  • Providing cover / assisting with other accounts tasks as needed

You will need previous experience working within a similar role, and have good knowledge of Purchase Ledger duties. The company are looking for someone to work 21 hours per week, and this can be spread over 3 full days, or 4/5 shorter days, to suit the successful candidate. The contract is expected to run until August 2025.
